A glog is a digital presentation tool that allows students and teachers to create, present, & share multi-media projects.
Glogster is a 21st century means of presenting projects that centers on student-interest based motivational learning and is on the cutting edge of pedagogical research and theory. According to research presented at the latest Level 3 PYP language training, it is directly in line with current “whole language” based instruction, in which students learn through projects and opportunities for self-expression. Students are self-motivated to acquire the skill sets and progress at amazing speed if given the opportunity for authentic, student-interest based projects within a guided frame of inquiry. Glogster.com/edu is at the forefront of this pedagogical approach and has finally provided educators with a student-safe, teacher-controlled, and parent-involved multi-media 2.0 medium to involve all parties in their students’ love for learning.

Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for the great videos of the 3rd graders doing the restaurant lesson. A priceless and rare window into the school lives of the kids. Way better than the, "nothing Mom.." answer I always get when I ask the kids what they did at school today. -- Courtney Borden

Thanks so much . I really enjoyed this since we don’t get to see our kids as they learn the way the teachers do. Mahalo for all you do! -- Alyson Silverstein

Things you should know about this new approach to learning:

1)
www.glogster.com/edu is not a for profit website, nor is it open to the public. It is an educational website that allows students to post assignments
and get instant feedback from other students and their teacher. The utmost effort has been put forth by glogster.com/edu to make the content only available to students in the class, with control by the teacher. Myself, the media director, and administration are the sole administrators of the viewership of the site. With the password and login, parents are always able to monitor and be involved in projects.
